eco-participation
What is eco-participation?
From January 1, 2025, the amount of eco-participation (WEEE) included in our prices will change. This compulsory sum is used to finance the collection, recycling and recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
Why this change?
- An environmental commitment: Reducing pollution and waste.
- A stronger regulatory framework: The European WEEE Directive requires collection and recycling via a system of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
Total price = Product price + Eco-participation
1,405.24 € INCL. VAT
This amount is clearly indicated on our invoices and included in the price of the products. It is paid to an approved eco-organization to finance recycling.
Repairability and durability
All our products, including wine cellars, are designed to be repairable to extend their service life. Thanks to our Interfroid Services after-sales service, specialized technicians intervene rapidly, and spare parts are available for 10 years. Repairing preserves natural resources and reduces waste.

Give your appliances a second life
When your new appliance is delivered, we offer to take back your old equipment free of charge*.
How do I do this?
- When you place your order, tick the Take-back option.
- Our delivery drivers will collect it on delivery.
- Recovered appliances are entrusted to approved eco-organizations for recycling or recovery.

The amount of the eco-participation is set by government-approved eco-organizations, according to the type and weight of the equipment. It reflects the cost of collecting, processing and recycling Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). This amount is updated periodically to align with new regulations and environmental needs.
Yes, you can request the return of several appliances. However, the number of wine cellars taken back is limited to the number of wine cellars delivered, and this must correspond to the size and type of products ordered. For example, if you order a large-capacity wine cellar, you can take back a wine cellar of equivalent size.
Collected appliances are handed over to government-approved eco-organizations. These are responsible for processing them in accordance with current environmental standards. They are :
- Sorted to separate recyclable materials.
- Recycled or recovered to extract raw materials (metals, plastics, etc.).
- Disposed of safely if certain components cannot be reused or recycled.
This process guarantees responsible, sustainable management of end-of-life devices.
